Happy occasions deserve a celebration!

We are so excited to celebrate our one month anniversary since the opening of EMMAvet Veterinary Urgent Care in the Belle View Shopping Center in Alexandria, VA.

A successful Open House!Our Team

Our open house was a huge success! We extended an invitation to everyone to come see our new hospital and meet our team, and the welcoming and outpouring of support from the community was incredible. We want to send a huge Thank You to Primo Restaurant for catering the event and to Covering the Corridor for sharing our story. You can read the articles here: http://emmavet.com/news/

Grand Opening Day!Our Hospital

EMMAvet opened doors on August 28, 2018, and the journey to bring a veterinary urgent care for animals from dream to reality has been truly amazing. EMMAvet (EMergent Medical Attention) is named after my accident-prone dog, Emma. I am quite aware of what those “oh shoot! I can’t believe you [fill in the blank: got into that/did/ate/vomited that/injured yourself]” moments look like, and I am happy to provide a place to help others through those times. We have an exceptional team dedicated to the mission of providing gold-standard care at a reasonable cost. Each team member has his or her own interests ranging from end-of-life care and pet loss support, to respiratory emergencies, to appropriate pain control for pets, and to client education. We are proud to bring these passions and unique opportunities to our community. I can’t wait to see the future of EMMAvet!

Thank you to everyone who has been part of every step of this journey, and we celebrate more to come, stay tuned!
